Colorful contemporary painting featuring a tiger's face, an eye, a snake, and various abstract elements displayed on a white gallery wall.

I lived and worked in New York City for over a decade and mostly in that time lived in a
number of converted warehouse lofts on the Bowery in Manhattan. It was right near
Chinatown and within minutes to SoHo and The Lower East Side.

The area has such a rich cultural history its not difficult to get inspired by those gritty chaotic streets that have been home to icons of music, literature, art and fashion.

Black and white photo of a woman with short hair lying on a wooden surface, resting her head on her hand, looking directly at the camera. She is wearing a sleeveless top and a leather jacket.
Mixed media artwork featuring a central tiger face with a woman with glasses inside its open mouth, a large eye with books and musical notes, a snake with the number 13, skull illustrations, a hand, and a sign that says "HIPPIES USE SIDE DOOR". Bold bright colors and layered elements create an eclectic collage.
Black and white magazine cover featuring a model in lingerie and a shirt, with green handwritten text overlay reading 'THE ARTISTS ON ARTIST'.
A colorful painting of a shark with exaggerated features, including a large eye, sharp teeth, and yellow hoses entangled around its body. The background is pink with yellow stars, musical notes, a happy baby, and a Grim Reaper figure holding a scythe.
