The BRUTALIST series

A painting series based on Brutalist architecture explores the raw poetry of concrete, mass, and repetition. Drawing from the imposing geometry and uncompromising materiality of post-war structures, the works translate heavy forms, sharp angles, and monolithic facades into layered compositions of texture and shadow. These paintings depict an abstract and geometric architectural style with an exploration into gold tones and soft blends of colour contrasting against a bold brutalist 3D visual illusion.
