SOLD OUT: All Three Van Dahl Works Find New Homes at Incognito Art Show 2026

I’m very happy to share that all three of my original artworks submitted to the 2026 Incognito Art Show have sold.

Three works. Three new homes. 3/3 sold.

There’s something particularly satisfying about selling work through Incognito.

The premise of the show is beautifully simple: every artwork is an original A5 work, every piece is priced the same, and most importantly…the identity of the artist remains a secret until the work has been purchased.

No name. No CV. No Instagram following. No gallery history.

The collector simply has to respond to the work.

For me, that’s what makes finding out that all three of my paintings sold so rewarding. Someone saw each piece amongst thousands of other artworks and connected with it enough to take it home without knowing who painted it.

ART FOR A GOOD CAUSE

The Incognito Art Show is a not-for-profit organisation that makes original art more accessible while supporting artists living with disability.

Artists donate their works to the exhibition, with proceeds helping fund programs that provide studio resources, professional development and exhibition opportunities for artists with disability.

For the 2026 show, Incognito is supporting Studio A, The Art Factory and Access Arts.

It’s a brilliant concept: established and emerging artists appear side-by-side, collectors get the opportunity to discover something unexpected, and the artwork gets to speak for itself.

THANK YOU TO MY THREE MYSTERY COLLECTORS

To the three people who chose one of my works this year—thank you.

As an artist, you spend a lot of time alone in the studio making decisions, experimenting, changing things, occasionally destroying something that was probably better two hours earlier, and wondering whether the finished work will connect with anyone beyond yourself.

Then something like this happens.

Knowing that three strangers encountered my work anonymously and decided, “Yep, I want that on my wall,” is a pretty great feeling.

And I love knowing that these three small works are now heading off to begin lives of their own.

A huge thank you also to the team behind the Incognito Art Show, the volunteers, participating artists, collectors and everyone who continues to support this fantastic initiative.
